President - Dai-Fugo -

President, also known as Career Poker, is a classic card game probably developed in Japan. It is generally called Dai-Fugo, which means a billionaire in Japanese. You play against CPU opponents and compete for the most points. (The style is arranged for this game.)

It takes about 10 minutes to play a short set of games, twice  for the long one. The Web version has a restriction that the Joker is not available in the game, causing a kind of monotony. If you are interested in the game, download the full version (including the Joker) for Windows and Android.

The basic rules are comparatively simple, but it is recommended that you take a look at the detailed rules described in the help of the game if you are not familiar with this card game. (Sorry, it is a little bit lengthy.)

The game proceeds as follows:

• All 52 (or 53, including the Joker) cards are dealt to the players.
• The first player puts out any valid cards on the table.
• The following players put out the cards of rank higher than the cards on the table in turn.
• When no players can put out higher-ranked cards any more, the player who discarded last wins the turn and begins the next turn.
• The first player to discard all its hand is the winner of the game and the game continues until only one player remains.
• When one of the players finishes the game, the score of the player is given as the sum of the numbers of cards in the hands of the remaining players.
• The players compete in five or ten rounds of games in all and the places are determined by the whole score of each player.

How to play

• Before starting the game, you set up the players and the rules to follow (the number of games, special rules, etc.) in the settings window, and click "OK" to start.
• Your player's name is highlighted in your turn. Then you select one or more cards to play by clicking them and press the "Play Cards" button. You can also play cards by double-clicking (or flicking) the card instead of pressing the "Play Cards" button.
• When you pass the turn, press the "Pass" button.

Other features

• The players' names can be changed and saved as you like (e.g., your favorite sport teams, players and your friends), boosting your mood.
• Playing results are recorded as statistics for each registered user.

The data of the players and the records are saved locally in your browser (for Web version) or in your local folder specified by Unity as text files (for Windows and Android). No data are collected online for the functions.
